Nearby cafes and restaurants in Žabljak - among them Bambus and Medjed around 2.3 km away and Talija at about 2.5 km - are an easy hop from the hotel, while Black Lake lies around 4.4 km away and the Sedlo mountain pass around 11 km.

Black Lake, the glacial pair of lakes below Meded peak, is the classic first walk of any Durmitor visit. The Sedlo pass road climbs between the highest summits and is one of the finest drives in the Balkans, while the Tara River canyon, the deepest in Europe, offers rafting in summer and the striking Đurđevića Tara bridge year-round. Hikers head for Crvena Greda and Bobotov Kuk, and in winter the Savin Kuk and Javorovača ski slopes are only a short drive from the door.
